Interactive Media: Exploring MS PowerPoint
PowerPoint is the presentation application of the commonly used Microsoft Office software suite. While many people frequently use PowerPoint presentations as a way to lecture on a given topic, most people do not take advantage of the awesome power of PowerPoint. This assignment introduced the advanced features of PowerPoint as an interactive hypermedia tool to enhance the teaching and learning process. This PowerPoint presentation includes both traditional linear links to websites in support of the presented material, as well as non-linear links. Non-linear links allow the user to move back and forth within the presentation. PowerPoint is not just for presentations. When used as an interactive hypermedia tool, PowerPoint can be used to create tutorials, learning centers, reviews, individualized quizzes, or to display student work and reports.
